Raven Cliff Falls. Helen, GA.
Today I learned that standing, face up and arms out, in the middle of falling leaves can be just as rewarding as doing the same in the pouring rain.

Comprehensive exams trump wandering. However, I do get to jet off to San Francisco for the weekend for my brother’s wedding. Hopefully that will satisfy my wanderlust until my exams are over.
Happy Wandering.

My summer trips did nothing for my wanderlust…except make it worse. I’m counting the days until I head back to San Francisco. Until then, I’ll have to be content with exploring Athens.
Happy Wandering.

The Obon Festival is the reason I always try to go home around the same time during the summer. It allows me to celebrate the lives of my loved ones, even after death.
There are festivals in most big cities. If you ever have the chance to go to one while traveling (or in your hometown!), it’s highly recommended.
Happy Wandering.

I was able to go home last weekend. Home for me is Salt Lake City, UT. There’s not a lot I miss about Utah. Sure, I miss my friends and family - but I can see them elsewhere. Somehow I miss the mountains most.
Happy Wandering.

This was my first kayaking trip. It’s hard to believe that so much beauty and space and quiet and nature can be found so close to the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle. I miss this almost as much as I miss the city.
Happy Wandering.
